At the moment in which I am writing this, I am 39 years old. More than half of these years have been dedicated to art: for the last twenty-five years I have committed myself to making, teaching and studying art. In the first place, I have devoted myself to oil painting. However, I have never ceased to work also in other media such as video, performance and sculpture. In addition, I have worked in architectural and curatorial projects. I would like to underline my ten years of teaching at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro— the academy where I received also my education— and the educational and curatorial projects which I organized in collaboration with other artists at the artist run space Yo soy el que soy. Moreover, I would like to underline that the artist and curator Hadas Amster curated a solo exhibition about my video work and oil and aquarelle paintings at Barbur Gallery in Jerusalem. And lastly, I would like to underline the exhibitions and residencies organized by the curator Inna Udovichenco and the collector Raivis Zabis. I continue to create art, just like the first man, and maybe just as the last one. 

 

 

En el momento en el que escribo tengo 39 años, de ellos 25 dedicados al arte, como estudiante, creador y profesor. Principalmente me he dedicado a la pintura al óleo de forma constante, pero no he dejado de trabajar medios audio-visuales, performance, esculturas en diferentes  técnicas, principalmente el mármol y la arquitectura, en construcciones y proyectos. Debo destacar mis diez años de enseñanza en la academia de bellas artes San Alejandro, donde también fui formado como estudiante. También la creación y colaboración artística con compañeros del gremio, en mi taller/galería de arte “Yo Soy El Que Soy”, lugar de creación, exhibición y enseñanza del arte activo por más de 8 años. Debo destacar también mi exhibición personal de pinturas al óleo, acuarela y video arte en la ciudad de Jerusalén, organizada por la artista y curadora Hadas Amster en la galería “Barbur”, exposiciones  y residencias organizadas por la curadora Inna Udovichenco y el coleccionista Raivis Zabis. Sigo creando arte, como el primer hombre, y quizás como lo haga también el último.
